Murder Mystery Dinner Party

November 15, 2015

IMG_0272This weekend we went to a fun little murder mystery dinner with our Life Group. It was at a historic bed and breakfast in Guthrie that seriously could have been on the movie, Clue. We went with a group two months ago for a bachelor/bachelorette party and thought it would be fun to take our Lifegroup.12246912_10153117922705685_2376104740343810710_nI was a widow turned live in lover with none other than my real life husband. Ha! It was set in 1929 so we had a lot of fun dressing the part. We spent the week before trying to find things to wear. I actually scored the majority of my outfit at Maurices. (Bonus! Wear more than once!) My necklace and shoes were on sale at Joyfolie and Zack grabbed this $5 hat at Walls. We had a 7 course candlelight meal and then went on to the mystery part. It was a blast. We had another group there making it a really large party. After we left Guthrie, we went to Bricktown in downtown OKC for drinks and desert.

We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs between the role play, inside jokes, and car concerts. So thankful for these people.

Pocahontas + Tiger Lily

November 10, 2015

I had to share a few photos from our session with my dear friend, Aubrey. This was Scout’s first Halloween and we had the girls coordinate costumes so I decided a fun little shoot was in order. Paisley wore my Pocahontas costume from when I was four. So neat to see items passed down to my girlies.

Headbands // Dainty Cheeks

Paisley’s Costume // Early 90’s Disney Classic 😉

Scout’s Costume // Moon Light Stitch

Starting backwards with our little weekend recap. I feel like we have been going non stop (we have) and this was a much needed unwinding weekend for all of us. Yesterday was our Church’s annual Fallapalooza. We all get together at a local Ranch/Pumpkin patch for barn games, petting zoo, pumpkin picking, inflatables, and fellowship. It’s always a blast and the girls had fun. We walked around with some friends and watched the kids play. Scout loved using their wagon and we chased Paisley and their little boy around. Those baby blues melt me.Saturday the hubby and I went to watch the Cowboys play TCU. Pretty proud of our 9-0 team. Go Pokes! Also? My husband is such a hunk and so much fun to be around. After leaving the game, we usually park in some college kids yard to help pay for their months rent. While leaving, not naming any names, s o m e o n e, got us stuck and we had to wait an hour for a tow truck. I kept reminding him God was showing us we weren’t supposed to be on the road. We laughed about it later over a glass of wine and bread sticks at Olive Garden. There isn’t much else you can do about it right? 🙂12193439_10153107576245685_5003683651917641755_nFriday night I went to my bestie’s new home and we painted some furniture. And talked until one in the morning. We have a knack for doing that and I love it. In other news, this sweet girl rolled over this week and is pretty proud of herself. Time is flying and I’ve been soaking in every second.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a productive week.
