Mrs. Meyer’s-A Target Find

I started doing a monthly beauty favorites post this month. However, I also wanted to share with my readers some other products that I pick up at the store on a whim. Whether its home goodies, decor, cleaning, cooking, etc.
I ran across this bottle of goodness in Target the other day. I wasn’t necessarily looking for hand soap, it just kind of jumped out at me. It may have been the cute packaging, or the amazing smell, but more than anything it was the all natural and no harsh chemicals on the bottle that sold me.
When I brought it home I researched the company just out of curiosity and loved the sweet story of how this brand was born. You can read about the “real” Mrs. Thelma and the company here.
It may be silly to be blogging about hand soap but I just wanted to share this stuff with you because I am LOVING it. I can’t wait to try some of the cleaning and laundry products. I may have even slipped a bottle of this into my Cara Box for this month. 🙂

Cookbooks

Not to toot my own horn too much but I have to say that I am not too shabby at being organized. Actually, I really love it. Danny Tanner is to cleaning as Kenzie is to organizing. P.S. if you don’t know Danny Tanner you needed more Full House in your life as a child.
This year, however, I want to become more organized. I can feel my husband rolling his eyes already when he reads this post but really, I like things in order. Call me crazy because I have a toddler and a hubs who could give 2 cents about being organized, but it is happening this year. Every few weeks or so I am going to be posting some ways of how we are becoming more organized in our home. The next post may be a link-up so feel free to join in on the fun!This is so simple but I wanted a way to organized my cookbooks.
I honestly had our cookbooks shoved in a “junk” drawer. I wish I would have put in a nook in our kitchen island for these but thought of it too late. Then I decided that these could be displayed somewhere in the kitchen.
I found this cute basket on Amazon and thought it would be perfect for my growing collection. Hey, it may even motivate me to cook more. 🙂
Something so simple freed up drawer space and made a cute little display for my books.

A Church Family

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you all had a great and refreshing weekend. First, I just want to thank you all for praying for Zack, Paisley, and I and our big goal for our family in 2014. We have been going to a church for four weeks now and have fallen in love. We are so blessed to say that last night we made the decision to join and are so humbled and excited to be apart of h2O church.
I can’t wait to see what God has planned for all of us here. We have really enjoyed our Life Group, the service, the worship, and getting to know a lot of the people in the church. It feels like home and it is where God is pulling us. I am so so so thankful for friends who encouraged us to give it a try and made us feel welcome.


Last night we experienced our first Overflow and it was absolutely powerful. Overflow is just a night of worship. Such a sweet and moving experience to engage and worship the Lord as a church body. I loved it and can’t wait for the next. I just felt God telling us to join and one thing I have learned lately is that if tells you to do something, you better do it! 🙂

I am so thrilled to have found a place for our family to grow in Jesus with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you friends, for lifting us up for the past few weeks. We called out to God and he answered and brought us to a church.
